DESCRIPTION
The Explore Scientific 18 mm 82° Ar eyepiece combines immersive wide-field performance with mid-range magnification, making it a perfect choice for open clusters, nebulae, and general sky navigation.

Its 6-element/4-group optical configuration provides high contrast and a flat field across the full 82° apparent field of view. The EMD coatings and blackened lens edges minimize internal reflections and maximize image sharpness.

Built with a waterproof, argon-purged stainless steel barrel, it offers excellent durability and resistance to dust and humidity. The twist-up rubber eyeguard adds observing comfort, especially during extended sessions.

This eyepiece is parfocal with others in the 82° Series, minimizing focus adjustments when switching focal lengths.
