Description
The Baader Planetarium balancing Counterweight Set allows easy compensation of a telescope system’s weight distribution depending on the accessories installed. The counterweight can be moved along the shaft to adjust the center of gravity. When using a heavy camera, the weight can be pushed forward, while for a lighter visual setup it can be moved backward. Adding a small photo lens also requires adjustment of the counterweight.
The set includes a 90 degree angled bracket for easy attachment to double mounting plates. It contains a 2.5 kg leveling counterweight (75 mm diameter and 75 mm height) made of V2A stainless steel, a 300 mm counterweight shaft (M14, 16 mm diameter) and a mounting block for M14 diameter 16 mm shafts. This durable and precise system provides flexible adjustment for any telescope or astrophotography configuration.
