Description

The Baader M62i to M77a – Hyperion DT-Ring adapter is a precision accessory designed to expand the compatibility of Hyperion 68° eyepieces with larger optical setups.
It threads directly onto the Hyperion DT SP54i / M62a ring (ref. #2958062, required but not included), converting an internal M62 thread to an external M77 thread. This allows secure connection to larger optical accessories such as filters, step-up rings, or photographic assemblies requiring a wider aperture.

With an optical length of just 1 mm, it ensures a mechanically secure transition without altering the optical path, preserving image sharpness and alignment.
This adapter is especially valuable for DSLR 2" filter holders or direct projection configurations with Hyperion eyepieces, offering expanded mechanical compatibility for demanding astrophotography and visual setups.
