0.8x 4-Element Corrector-Reducer for 400–600 mm Focal Lengths
DESCRIPTION
Tecnosky’s new 0.8x corrector-reducer features a 4-element optical design for enhanced field correction and improved chromatic aberration control. It’s an excellent solution for astrophotographers using refractors with focal lengths between 400 mm and 600 mm.
Optimized for models such as the ED70, ED80, EDT80, and 80 Apo Triplet, it inserts directly into a standard 2-inch focuser. On the camera side, it uses a T2 thread (M42x0.75 mm) for easy integration with most astro imaging setups.
Backfocus distance depends on the focal length of the telescope, as detailed below:
Recommended backfocus based on focal length:
Up to 350 mm: 70 mm
Up to 420 mm: 65 mm
450–500 mm: 61 mm
510–600 mm: 58 mm
610–700 mm: 57 mm
710–790 mm: 56 mm
From 800 mm: 55 mm
