Description

The 10Micron MAXIDUAL 4″ dual mounting plate enables secure, parallel mounting of two optical tubes on a single mount. This solution is ideal for multi-instrument astrophotography, dual-band observation, or autoguiding configurations.

It includes a MAXI 4″ clamping base and two 3″ clamps (#1452085) compatible with the Losmandy standard. The spacing between the clamps is laterally adjustable with three preset positions: approximately 210 mm, 245 mm, and 281 mm (8.3″, 9.6″, 11″), allowing flexibility for different tube diameters and setups.

Weighing approximately 6 kg, the assembly offers exceptional rigidity and stability, even with heavy instruments. It is compatible out of the box with the GM 2000 mount and can be installed on the GM 3000 or GM 4000 using optional adapters (#1453545 and #1454545 respectively).
