The iOptron HAE43C AZ/EQ SWG with Go2Nova handset combines precision, power, and portability. Using Strain Wave Gear technology, it delivers high tracking accuracy and smooth GoTo performance for demanding astronomy and astrophotography.
The iOptron HAE43C AZ/EQ SWG with Handset is a next-generation hybrid mount using Strain Wave Gear drives on both RA and DEC axes. It provides an outstanding weight-to-payload ratio and excellent precision.
Weighing only 5.7 kg, it supports up to 20 kg of payload without a counterweight. Its CNC-machined aluminum structure, black anodized finish, and solid construction ensure strength and stability for years of use.
This version includes the Go2Nova 8411 OLED handset with a database of approximately 212,000 celestial objects, offering accurate and responsive GoTo operation.
It features an electronic friction brake for safety during power interruptions, an integrated ST-4 autoguide port, and a dual Vixen/Losmandy-D saddle.
The HAE43C can operate in equatorial mode for astrophotography or in alt-azimuth mode for visual observation, making it an excellent portable mount for both field and home setups.
