DESCRIPTION
The Baader ASBF 100 mm filter is engineered for secure white-light solar observation with all binocular types and for solar photography with camera lenses. It features the original AstroSolar Safety Film OD 5.0, mounted stress-free into a rigid plastic/aluminum cell to maintain diffraction-limited performance.
One side of the filter housing is shortened to fit binoculars with narrow bridges. Each unit includes three centering bolts (Ø13 mm, 24 mm long) with rubber tips, aluminum sliding guides with index markers, and safety straps with adhesive pads. Assembly requires no tools, and the design ensures maximum optical quality and safe use in the field. A printed warning and full mounting instructions are also provided.
