DESCRIPTION
The Baader ASTF 80 mm OD 5.0 filter allows safe solar observation through a telescope. It uses AstroSolar OD 5.0 film mounted without tension inside a temperature-compensated cell. This keeps the film’s optical quality intact. The aluminum frame is reinforced with a plastic support for safe and stable use. Three centering bolts, safety straps and caps are included to ensure reliable attachment to the tube.
