The Sky-Watcher ESPRIT-80ED is a high-end apochromatic triplet refractor designed for advanced astrophotographers. With a fast f/5 focal ratio and one element made of Ohara FPL-53 ED glass, this telescope offers exceptional color correction with no visible fringing, even on bright stars.

Engineered for imaging, the optical tube features a 2.7" dual-speed linear power focuser with precision ball bearings, offering smooth, backlash-free focusing and excellent mechanical support for heavy imaging gear.

The OTA version includes a heavy-duty foam-lined carry case, a 9x50 right-angle correct-image finderscope, a 2" dielectric diagonal, tube rings with a Vixen-style dovetail plate, and mounting hardware. An optional matched field flattener is available, providing a 33 mm fully corrected image circle for use with APS-C or full-frame sensors.
