Explore Scientific 1.25" variable polarizing filter allows precise brightness control. Ideal for Moon, planets, and Herschel wedge observations.
DESCRIPTION
The Explore Scientific 1.25" variable polarizing filter provides continuously adjustable light transmission between 40% and 1% by rotating the filter housing. It is particularly effective in compensating for high-contrast variations, notably during Moon, planetary, or solar observations (with appropriate solar filter only). Especially useful when using a Herschel wedge, it delivers optimal viewing comfort even with large aperture optics. The neutral grey tone ensures natural color reproduction.
Made from high-quality optical glass and black anodized aluminum, this filter features both male and female 1.25" threads, allowing stacking with additional color filters. It comes with a protective box and is covered by a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
