DESCRIPTION
The Explore Scientific 4.7mm 82° Ar eyepiece offers a powerful yet comfortable viewing experience for planetary and compact deep sky targets. With a wide apparent field of 82°, this short focal length eyepiece provides excellent sharpness across the entire field.

Its 7-element, 4-group optical system is fully multi-coated (EMD), with edge-blackened lenses and internally blackened barrel to minimize stray light and maximize contrast. The stainless steel 1.25" barrel ensures compatibility with most focusers. The eyepiece is argon-purged and waterproof, offering long-term resistance to dust and moisture.

A twist-up rubber eyecup and generous eye relief make this eyepiece especially comfortable during extended observing sessions. All eyepieces in the 82° series are parfocal.
