DESCRIPTION

The Tecnosky OWL 125/975 refractor features a high-performance apochromatic doublet using FPL53 synthetic fluorite and lanthanum glass. This combination delivers outstanding chromatic correction, particularly suited to high-resolution lunar, planetary and double star observations, thanks also to its F/7.8 focal ratio.

The optical tube is made entirely of aluminum and features internal knife-edge baffles and a matte black finish to suppress stray light. A retractable dew shield ensures convenient transport.

Focusing is handled by a robust 2.5" CNC rack-and-pinion focuser with a 1:10 micro-reduction knob, ensuring precise adjustments without slippage — unlike many basic Crayfords. A built-in field rotator enables ideal framing without losing focus. The focuser accepts 2" accessories via a click-lock mechanism, and 1.25" accessories with a self-centering adapter.

By unscrewing the extension between the focuser and tube, the instrument can be used with binoviewers and low-profile optical correctors — sometimes even without any corrector at all.

Supplied with a pair of deluxe tube rings, a Vixen-style dovetail bar, and a carrying handle. The complete setup weighs 7.6 kg.
