DESCRIPTION
The Celestron PowerTank Lithium Pro is a high-capacity portable power solution designed for extended observing sessions and demanding field use. With a 158.72 Wh LiFePO4 battery, it offers twice the capacity of the original PowerTank Lithium, delivering up to 17 hours of telescope operation.

It features a 12V DC 5A port (Celestron telescope cable included), a 12V DC 10A car adapter port, and two USB outputs—one standard 2.1A and one QuickCharge-enabled. Its durable housing includes a white/red LED light panel with two brightness levels per color, ideal for safe nighttime use or emergency lighting.

Compact and lightweight, it secures to a tripod leg using the included 2” strap. Rated IP-65, the PowerTank resists dust and water splashes. It charges in six hours and shuts off automatically if the current drops below safe thresholds.

The LiFePO4 chemistry allows up to 2000 charge cycles and a 10-year shelf life. Free of toxic heavy metals, it’s also safer and more eco-friendly than lead-acid batteries. FAA compliant (<160 Wh), it’s suitable for carry-on air travel (confirm airline policy).
