DESCRIPTION

The Sky-Watcher Evostar 150ED DS-Pro features a doublet objective with an Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass element. The 150 mm aperture combined with a focal length of 1200 mm (f/8) provides detailed and colour-corrected images. Each air-to-glass surface is fully multi-coated using Sky-Watcher’s proprietary MHC (Metallic High-Transmission Coatings), achieving light transmission up to 99.5%.

This model uses a different glass combination than the 80ED/100ED/120ED versions. The retractable dew shield helps reduce size during transport. The 2" Crayford focuser includes an 11:1 fine focus ratio and is backlash-free. The tube includes a standard Sky-Watcher/Vixen finder shoe, tube rings with 1/4-20 threads, and a 45 mm dovetail bar.

An optional 0.85x reducer/flattener is available for astrophotography, bringing the focal ratio down to f/6.8.
