DESCRIPTION
This 31.75 mm UV/IR Cut filter belongs to Baader's latest generation, engineered after two years of R&D for optimal use with CMOS sensors. It features Reflex-Blocker™ coating to suppress halos and Life-Coat™ technology for lifetime durability.
The filter passes 98% of visible light (420–685 nm) and blocks UV and IR to avoid star bloating common with red-sensitive CMOS or CCD sensors. It allows 1:1:1 exposure balance, aligned with CMOS quantum efficiency and SNR performance.
It includes blackened edges and a side indicator (black ring facing telescope) to reduce reflections and guide correct placement. Also suitable for CCD cameras.
